If a weekend trip just doesn’t fit into your schedule, then our day trips should help you satisfy your snow craving. Downhill fun for everyone with an easy escape from the city to a winter wonderland only a couple of hours away.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to downhill ski or snowboard.

Please note: All prices listed for weekend trips are for each person, in a double occupancy room. If you do not specify a roommate, we will pair you with one. Single occupancy, if possible, would be additional cost.

Day Weekend
Three full days of Snowboarding/Downhill Skiing and XC-Skiing/Snowshoeing.
Celebrate the long Holiday Weekend in Stowe. Mt. Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont,
is waiting for Snowboard and Downhill Skiers with an 8-passenger gondola. Beginners and intermediates might
prefer Spruce Peak, only minutes away. The cross-country trail systems here are unmatched in this country
not only for size, but for beauty. Mt. Mansfield Touring Center offers skiing on classic mountainside trails.
The scenic woods and meadows of the Trapp Family Touring Center are also a favorite with us. The Mountaineer
Inn offers an indoor pool, sauna and hot tub, and serves us hardy breakfasts and dinners. A town shuttle is
available to give you the freedom to come and go as you please. Saturday night at the Rusty Nail for the night owls of the group.

March 7-9, 2008 ... Lake Placid, NY ... Swiss Acres Lodge ... $325
Two full days of Snowboarding/Downhill Skiing and XC-Skiing/Snowshoeing.
Having hosted the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, the Lake Placid area offers world class facilities for a full spectrum of winter sports.
Cross-country skiers will tour the Olympic trails of Mount Van Hoevenberg and the more classic trails of Cascade Touring Center.
Snowboarders and Downhill Skiers will enjoy Whiteface Mountain which boasts the greatest vertical drop in the east (3,430 ft).
We stay at the Swiss Acres Lodge – a comfortable, convenient inn with all the amenities: hot tub, sauna, bar, game room, lounge
and dinning room, where we’ll enjoy breakfast and dinner. For the more adventurous, on Saturday night we’ll go into town for some
fun on the Toboggan Run and explore Main Street.
