About our club

The Ski & Snowboard Club of New York is a non-profit group run by a committee of dedicated skiers who volunteer their time to organize fun and value-priced ski trips that are convenient for all in the New York City area. In general, our skiers are adults who love skiing, the outdoors, and meeting new people.

We are always looking for ways to reach new members. So if you know of younger active people, or anyone looking for a chance to ski, have them contact us, or ask us to contact them.

Since we are strictly volunteer, we always need help! If you want to be a part of the volunteer staff, call 212.932.2300 x116.

Here is the kind of help we need:

  • Answering phones on club nite (Tuesday evenings)
  • Entering data into the computer's database
  • Opening mail
  • Processing trip applications and deposits
  • Phoning people who signed up for trips
  • Organizing/Planning
  • Creative ideas to publicize our club
